“Hi Alba I have signed up for all events at Alba Surf Club Webpage. I was worried that after such a beautiful day, people would get excited and rush for the trips!!! Each time I come back from a surf trip I look forward to the next one and signing-up helps
… Today was lots of fun! The organization was perfect, as always
I didn’t know about the free surf trip, that’s great!! I think the best moment of my day was to actually push little Ben and see him standing up! Again good work guys, you largely deserve the million of thanks
See you next weekend, Sylvain”

Both of you have been amazing friends to me and it’s meant so much, I can’t even tell you! The surf club is the best thing that has happened to Melbourne and has become a really significant part of my life here. Thanks so much for all of it! You guys are incredible! Em”

“Hi Alba and Ingo, the time has finally come for me to leave Melbourne and head back so Sweden. The feeling is definitely very bittersweet for me. I have had a wonderful time here in Melbourne and I have met so many wonderful people, a lot of it is thanks to you two. My goal when I moved down here was to learn how to surf, which was something, I had the opportunity to do thanks to you. Alba Surf Club has been one of the best things that happened to me down here and would like to thank you guys for that. Keep up the fantastic job you do with the club and keep on being the awesome people that you are. Kind Regards Johan Björn Wessborg”

“Alba’s Surf Club is run partly voluntarily by Alba Ruiz Leon & Ingo Lippitsch as a way for Melbourne based surfers to meet, surf and socialize with other surfers. The club started out as just a group of mates but has grown to more than 100 members. At the moment it has new members signing in daily basis. The members range from beginners to those that are more experienced and include a mix of Victorians and travelers from all over the world. I think you will agree that Alba has setup something that is pretty special.”

“…we joined Alba Surf Club. Alba is a Spanish PhD student who lives in Melbourne. She is passionate about surfing. She started a club where people mostly students from abroad; France, Germany, Spain, New Zealand, China…. can join and share cars to reduce cost of driving to the Surf Coast. Most of the people are beginners or intermediate surfers but there are some advanced surfers (like Alba) and even a World Qualifying Series surfer joined a few times.” Read the complete publications at the link below:
