Alba Surf Club Terms and Conditions

Every Surf Club Member must read and agree to Alba Surf Club Terms and Conditions.You acknowledge that surfing is a dangerous sportive activity with numerous potential hazards

  • You declare to have read the Liability Waiver. Alba Surf Club staff will give you the disclaimer to sign before enrolling any surf event. You must agree and sign on all clauses.
  • You declare that you are an experienced swimmer and have an intermediate surf level. You declare to have read the Surfing Rules.
  • You confirm that you understand the ocean and know how to be safe in this environment
  • There are surf trips scheduled for each level. Don’t sign in for an advance/ intermediate surf trip if you are a beginner
  • The trips size have a maximum of four cars, no more than 20 members could join a surf trip even.
  • Members must respect driver’s cars. You will leave the car clean of rubbish (water bottles, sandwich wrappers…). You will not get into the car with sand in your feet or wet clothes. If you make a scratch or a non-removable stain on to any of the car you will need to pay for the damage.
  • You are liable for any ASC equipment damage while during your rental period. ASC gear damage will need to be reimbursed as per ASC quote.
  • You are liable for any damage you might cause voluntarily or involuntarily at rental properties during surf camps and others surf club events. You will need to reimburse as per agency quote.
  • You are liable for any damage you might cause voluntarily or involuntarily to other surf members.
  • We leave Melbourne at the set time for each trip. If you are not at the meeting point on time, we leave without you.
  • Every member will pay for the Surf Trip in the morning, before the trip commences. You will need to bring exact cash with you. There will not be cash available.
  • Once your membership expires your access to the Member Area at the Web page will be terminated.
  • As per ASC policy, if you fail to pay the Silver or Gold membership renewal within one month of expiration date your veteran status will be lost. To rejoin the Club after one month of membership expiration date will be at a Rookie membership fee.

  • Sign out Rule, if you fail to sign out 48 hours prior to departure you will be suspended to join surf trips for the following week. If you don’t show up without signing out at all you will be suspended to join surf trips for the next 2 following weeks
  • Alba Surf Club reserves the right to refuse any application or cancel and active membership at any time.
